TIP: How to do Shadow Work According to Me

Writer: MaRosieMaRosie

I would like to believe, hopefully, especially in today's world, we are brought up good and proper. Like for example, in my case, I am grateful to have been brought up in a Catholic upbringing, and in Filipino tradition. These have become the main or core foundation of my being--morals, values, character, personalities (albeit, there are values on both culture that I am so-so with, and/or agree and disagree with in ranges--which I discovered all through my own shadow work; you will too when you undergo this process).

Now from your background, from your own foundation of morals, values, character, personalities, delve deep inside yourself, ask the question what are the most important good values you want to hold and integrate within yourself and unto the outside world?

Then examine what actions or thoughts that does not align with it (from your childhood up to present). Since its shadow work, concentrate on the dark sides of your being--the mistakes you have made, the negative, nasty, bad, and ugly emotions or feelings and personality, the feelings of your inferiority, and your insecurities, the things you've done that you feel is unacceptable to you, and also to the society. List them all up, and then examine each of them to the deep deep essence of it.

Examine how does these uglies make you feel?

Angry? Ashamed? Guilty? Sad? Disappointed? Unforgivable? Depressed? Hopeless? Fearful?

Then FEEL it to your core. FEEL ALL OF IT TO THE BRIM, and let it overflow if it must.

Feel all that shame, guilt, etc of yourself; feel the ick, like you cannot forgive yourself for all those shit... scream and cry if you must.

That would be your release.

It is also your acceptance of your whole self; your complete understanding of you. Which then also leads to the forgiveness of you and your imperfections.

Lastly, the solution: How then would you address yourself when you encounter these shadows? How would you address these / your toxicities to be able to live in your higher self and in your higher vibration and/or alignment? How would you change and rebuild yourself back up again? and again, whenever you encounter them again?--we are not perfect mind you, most of the times our main shadows will always, always, come back up and sometimes, linger.

P.S. I guess, I have to admit, I am grateful again to my enemies and haters, because of you, I would not be doing and continue doing my shadow work and be in my highest alignment and vibration. That I have to give you credit for. But you still have to know, you have done (and maybe still even doing until now) too too much... way too too much. Stop Brokeback Mountain-ing me -- "I can't quit you!" shit! I mean truly, get a life, move on, do your shadow work (here, I am helping you) and move forwards to your own life.
